Poetry in Voice Competition
Poetry in Voice is a national poetry recitation competition which originates in the local school. Students may participate in one of three categories: English only, French only, or the bilingual option.
The poems selected must come from the approved list on the competition's website. Students then compete to determine a winner in each category. Those individuals then make a video recording of the winning entries which is submitted to the national body for consideration for the nation competition; this year it is held in Montreal.
Further detailed information and competition rules may be found on the website at www.poetryinvoice.com or by contacting Mr. Hoddinott in room 132.
